Retrofit
- Environmental, legislative, regulatory (F-gas) and rising energy costs are causing businesses to evaluate, prioritise and manage their future capital expenditure.
- Extending the ‘life cycle’ of cooling plant presently in good order and operating on the now obsolescent R22 is one such way. The use of a ‘drop-in’ refrigerant offers significant increases in the ‘life cycle’ plant with minimal re-engineering work and disruption.
- Stabilising and optimising condenser head pressure via a variable speed drive (VSD) returns savings between 4 -15% (please see our Stable Head Pressure bulletin).
- Liquid pressure amplification (LPA) offers increases in efficiency and saves energy. To date, monitored systems have returned savings of between 15 & 50% (please see our LPA bulletin).
